Phuc Dinh is an 8th grade student in my advanced art classes. While I have many talented artists, Phuc has definitely been an exceptional standout in every way. His work ethic, his demeanor, his willingness to strive for excellence are above and beyond anything I have ever seen before. And every day he surprises me with some new bit of amazingness. So I have decided to give Phuc his own gallery on my blog. No doubt he’ll have his own website up soon…but in the meantime, I can say I discovered him!

Hello Mrs. Anders,
Just wanted to leave a comment about how fabulous and gifted your students are. Phuc here is quiet an artist. From what I can see, he will become very successful if he pursues his art ability. He really has the ‘magic touch’, as they say, when it comes to the paint brush or the prisma color.
That kid is a real treasure. Teach em’ all that you have and he will grow to be a very shiny jewl.
Also wanted to say…
Thank you very much for all that you have taught me. Good luck with all your students and I hope they blossum beautifully.
Keep up the good work Phuc!!
Ahmad Mohamad-
Mrs. A’s previous student.
Ahmad-
You are so fortunate to come from a treasure trove of jewels! I am enjoying working with Mohamad this year and look forward to teaching him next year also. I hope you guys are having a great time at Dobie. Did you see my post about the potential Paris trip for next summer? I will be getting in touch with you all and hopefully we can make that a reality!
In the meantime, thanks for checking in…I really do appreciate getting to work with students like you. Those are memories that keep on giving. As for Phuc…he’s a genius and I haven’t taught him a thing!
Keep checking back!

Hello Mrs.A!!
You inspired me at our Pre – AP training at Rice U. last week. I got on wordpress today and am trying to FINALLY start a decent website. Thank you for trying to introduce us to an easier tool to creating a website for ourselves, our students and (eek!) the parents of our students.
